The Voice of Lies

The voice of lies speaks out so loud
Demanding to control
Don’t try to comprehend its will
Its views are not your own
Just like a dog it turns on you
Destroying trust you've known
Imposing all the thoughts of things
That wisdom won't condone

It tells you that your point of view
Is wrong and you must learn
All the things it says are true
Your own thoughts you must spurn
And if you still are thinking
The words you hear aren’t true
It says that you’re mistaken
The fault is all with you

That voice of lies will hate you
If you search around for proof
It likes to take you for a ride
Ore common senses roof
Don’t bow to dark deception
Let logic be your guide
See past the spells of Satan
Stay on the human side
